Gail Baugh
Gail’s continuing mission is to develop strategic relationships in her community creating new visions of our future, particularly through San Francisco’s performing and visual arts, its urban gardens, and its waste (yes) management.
She advocated for and contributed to SB707, Responsible Textile Recovery Act of 2024, signed by the governor in Fall, 2024, to become the first law in the nation to divert used textile products from landfill and require producers and retailers to take responsibility for the textile products they make and sell in the state of California. Her many years of senior management experience in the global textile and apparel industries provided her expertise to become an educator and author preparing the next generation of apparel designers and retailers for a changed world.
